For its Plant in Eastern Poland the
Managing Director / CEO

Our client is one of the leading innovator and preferred supplier to the global foundry industry with affiliates in 30 countries worldwide.


The products cover the entire range of chemical and metallurgical additives for the foundry industry.



The Position and Responsibilities


We have been assigned to search and select the Managing Director / CEO for the company in Poland that currently employs more than 100 people.

This position will have the priority of growing the business profitability with new or adjacent technologies, and new customers in existing segments, new markets and segments.  You will have the direct responsibility for all facets of the company, including the delivery of near term results as well as long term strategic objectives and full P&L responsibility.



Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide visionary, strategic and hands-on leadership in production and sales
  • Direct the annual operating plans and functional objectives
  • Ensure management effectiveness such as planning, monitoring, taking action, driving results and instilling accountability
  • Direct, train, coach and mentor your managers and employees
  • Ensure coordination, collaboration and integration with the Global Corporate Group


The Qualifications and Requirements


You will meet the high expectations of our client if you have a BA/BS degree – MBA would be desired – and about 10 years of work experience in a business as well as a foundry and production environment.  Furthermore, you will have served 5 years in a comparable leadership role in a foundry or casting company.


You possess an understanding of general management, legal requirements and internal controls, including the ability to identify gaps and implement solutions.  You have a profound grasp of foundry products, manufacturing and processes. 


You combine analytical and conceptual strengths with dynamic energies along with an entrepreneurial spirit and drive.  You are a quick decision maker with the demonstrated ability to accomplish tough goals.  You are professionally and personally convincing with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  You are a native Polish speaker, who is proficient in English.  Knowledge of German would be beneficial. 



The Terms

Contractual terms are commensurate with international standards.  The compensation package will convince you if you are the performance and results oriented executive our client is seeking.  We will be happy to discuss contract details during a face-to-face interview.
